Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and managing a team of Purchasing Coordinators.

  • Manage, negotiate, and communicate all pricing costs with material and service vendors.

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors and the field operations team.

  • Manage and oversee daily operations are being met in the purchasing department.

  • Approve new material and service vendors.

  • Set up new material and service vendors in NetSuite.

  • Review daily purchase requests submitted by the field operations team.

  • Generate and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in NetSuite from the field's purchase requests and track accordingly to ensure timely deliveries of materials.

  • Communicate with the field operations team on status and estimated arrival of shipments.

  • Collect material receipts from the field and receiving the orders into NetSuite.

  • Monitor temp labor hours and communicate with the field operations team and vendor to ensure there is no overtime.

  • Verify with the temp agency that current temp labor can be hired on and communicate with the field operations team and human resources.

  • Request and process business licenses.

  • Work closely and in collaboration with field leaders.

  • Leverage volume for national deals that reduce overall cost and provide value.

  • Develop new and efficient ideas ongoing for the purchasing department in congruence with the field operations team.

  • Investigate, chronicle, and lead all efforts on equipment.
