Job Decsription :

Millwrights will work on heavy construction (pipelines, chemical plants, water, waste water treatment plants) and industrial (manufacturing, food, automotive plants) projects throughout ON.

They must be open to both industrial and construction projects, responsibilities include:

• Start up and testing

• Shutdown operations

• Renovating and restoring

• Rigging and handling

• Troubleshooting Machinery

Equipment that could be worked on:

• Tool grinders

• Press brakes/metalworking equipment

• Pumps and compressors

• Welding equipment

• Heat exchangers

• Conveyors

• Lathes and other machining tools

Qualification:

1) Construction or Industrial Millwright

2) Experience working with plans/blueprints and ability to read them accurately

3) Working at Heights certificate

Schedule and Wage:

7 - 4:30 Day shift

Wage- 35-45/hour

Work Environment:

Working at heights, noisy, dusty, cold, contractors must be open to uncomfortable working environment .
