Position Summary:

The Product Manager, Electrical Balance of Systems (eBOS) is responsible for the commercial success of our eBOS products, ensuring we grow our position as a U.S. solar integrated solutions leader and, in that regard, deliver a more powerful future for renewable energy in the United States. Must develop a deep understanding of the end consumers, buyers, competitors, and go-to-market channels, becoming the subject matter expert who is responsible for translating this into clear, well-documented product requirements and communicating to the engineering and other partner teams to inform product development. They are a member of the eBOS leadership team, taking an influential leadership position among the group responsible for delivering the financial performance and customer experience targets set for the eBOS product category.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Duties):

Own the eBOS product management strategy Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for eBOS including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, product launch, and growth and sunset plans. Apply a deep understanding of full cost build-up, make vs. buy decisions, and related product options. Develop, own, and maintain eBOS product category roadmaps Develop and propose long-term product category strategies that prioritize market leadership, cutting-edge innovation, ingenuity, and company objectives. Maintain an attitude of reinvention, continually analyzing product characteristics and requirements. Create detailed business cases for product innovation and improvement investments and support Engineering in prioritization of development projects

Drive customer engagement and solutions Cultivate deep, current, and meaningful appreciation for and understanding of customer distinctions, strategies, priorities, and value propositions, leveraging customer relationships wherever possible. Integrate anticipated customer needs and expectations into product design, functionality, and marketability. Pursue strategies that improve customer ROI. Prioritize and influence customer experience across all touchpoints-from product ideation through production and service. Integrate customer engagement, satisfaction goals, and metrics into strategic plans.

Ensure product line profitability Share responsibility for eBOS financial performance, driving results and growth while maintaining margin contributions against key goals Create pricing models and facilitate pricing decisions to ensure appropriate pricing to seize upon viable growth markets and prospects. Drive lifetime customer value through continuous new product development (NPD) and product improvement (PI) initiatives. Deliver timely, relevant performance- and customer-related updates to executive leadership. Communicate with a "no surprises" attitude.
