The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an HR Services Teamlead (m/f/*), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing HR administration processes across 7 countries, including Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Poland and Czech Republic.

  • Your primary focus will be on optimizing HR administration processes to ensure efficient and customer-oriented management of HR-related documents. You will work closely with other HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to streamline processes and enhance overall service delivery.

  • Compliance with local legislation, labor laws, works constitution act and collective agreements is of utmost importance. You will be responsible for ensuring awareness of these regulations and implementing necessary measures to maintain compliance.

  • Collaboration with global HR organizations and the HRIT department will be crucial in identifying opportunities for digitalization, simplification, and standardization of HR processes. You will drive the implementation of these initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day HR operations.

  • Continuous improvement and optimization of HR Services processes will be a key focus area. You will proactively identify areas for improvement, implement necessary changes, and monitor the impact of these enhancements.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • A college/university degree in economics with a focus in HR, legal, finance, or IT.

  • Expertise in HR or a related field.

  • Proven track record of supervisory or project leadership experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.

  • In-depth knowledge and significant experience with German labor law, works constitution act, and collective agreements.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience and proficiency in project management, particularly in leading change management initiatives within a multinational organization and complex environment.

  • Understanding of and experience working with Global Shared Service Center strategies.

  • Familiarity with automation tools and methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change in a complex multicultural environment.
