Antech Diagnostics Quality Assurance Specialist in Hong Kong

Job Requirements

Antech Diagnostics are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead QA/QC projects across our diagnostic laboratories in Hong Kong and Singapore.

You will be focused on ensuring consistency and quality across our reference laboratories through validation, testing and analytical activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, global business and help support our mission to create A Better World for Pets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and conduct experiments to support, validate, and investigate issues relating to reagents, tests, and processes.

  • Conduct testing of new reagents and kits.

  • Provide support to our laboratories and oversee all QA/QC activities.

  • Conduct QC monitoring using ThermoFisher, LabLink xL.

  • Investigate reasons for testing issues.

  • Assist in sample collection for validation/studies/

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.

  • Perform statistical analysis of varying data.

  • Review and approve QC records.

  • Collect samples for validation studies and perform analytical tests.

  • Travel between the laboratories in Hong Kong and Singapore when required, up to 25% of the time.

Work Experience

  • Degree level qualification in life science or applicable field.

  • Minimum two years of bench tech.

  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary lab experience desired.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of current laboratory practices in the diagnostics industry.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Analytical skills pertaining to scientific and laboratory activities.

  • Know how to accurately record and evaluate data using statistics software.

  • Problem solving abilities.

  • The ability to follow and enforce SOP’s.

  • The ability to work well as a team to achieve success.
