All | | | duties must be completed in | | | compliance with University, | | | Conference and | | | | | | NCAA regulations. | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Duties and Responsibilities: | Direct Care and | | | Rehabilitation: | | | | | |   | | | | | | - * Design, implement, and | | | monitor treatment and | | | rehabilitation programs for | | | student-athletes dealing with | | | time loss injuries or | | | undergoing surgical | | | rehabilitat on. | | | - * Maintain electronic | | | medical documentation for all | | | student-athletes on a daily | | | basis. | | | | | | Coordination and Liaison: | | | | | | - * Assist in coordinating and | | | overseeing the provision of | | | healthcare services to | | | student-athletes, primarily | | | within the women's basketball | | | program. | | | - * Coordinate healthcare | | | services for the women's | | | basketball program as needed. | | | - * Serve as a liaison between | | | the Sports Medicine staff and | | | the Strength & Conditioning | | | staff regarding | | | rehabilitation programs | | | women's basketball | | | student-athletes and others, | | | as assigned. | | | - * Manage external accounts, | | | including pharmacy and | | | physical therapy, and liaise | | | with medical practices | | | associated with | | | student-athlete care. | | | - * Administrative and | | | Support: | | | - * Assist in the daily | | | operations and upkeep of the | | | athletic training facility, | | | as needed. | | | | | | PART IV: NONESSENTIAL JOB | | | FUNCTIONS (Less Critical Duties | | | etc.) | | | | | | - * Undertake additional | | | duties and special projects | | | as assigned by the Assistant | | | AD for Sports Medicine.
