Job purpose
Responsible for supplier quality issues management.
Location
Viana do Castelo plant, Portugal
Responsibilities:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions regarding quality problems;
Present quality problems in purchased parts to the respective suppliers;
Monitor and maintain incidents in the system and ensure that they are completed within a defined time frame;
Creation of CPM (Complaints on Purchased Material) to suppliers
Follow-up of the 8D's from Suppliers for mitigation of quality issues
Control of the landscape of CPM's for the entire plant
Control of the Quality Cage in the warehouse
Responsibility of sorting raw material components with external sorting companies
Ensure the proper feedback is provided to the internal customer (Production) on suppliers actions and organization of replacement raw material in case of quality issues.
Respect the safety and cleanliness rules at the workplace;
Work in accordance with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental preservation standards.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma in quality area
Bachelor's Degree (valued)
Experience in similar position (valued)
Knowledge about automotive quality tools
Communications skills
Interpersonal relationship skills
PC literate
Fluent English level is required
High level of knowledge in Portuguese language is required
