Vermont Employer Quality Assurance Technician in Vergennes, Vermont

This position is for a Quality Assurance Technician who works under direct supervision, conducts quality reviews for non-conforming material, assists in analyzing corrective actions and process reengineering, prepares Quality Assurance materials with product design and specifications, and maintains all other aspects and needs of the Quality Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Works under direct supervision to assist with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures

Coordinates containment activities with Quality Engineers

Manages flow of non-conforming materials (NCMs) in accordance with site policies and procedures

Provides real time Quality support to production

Assists with troubleshooting and product screening

Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures

Completes Root Cause Analyses by utilizing 5WHYs, 8D and similar methodologies

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

SAP Experience

Teamcenter Experience

D2 Experience

Commitment to leading continuous improvement

Ability to write and review technical documents

Electronics, Electrical or Electromechanical manufacturing, and processing experience

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
