Overview:

The Custody Global UTT Project Analyst role will be responsible for managing cross-functional test phases and business groups to develop and execute the UTT Test Strategies across Securities Services Operations .

The opportunity will afford the candidate with an experience to lead a cross functional testing group that provides services to business groups globally. Project assignments will require candidates to have strong written and oral communications, analytical, technical aptitude, proficient MS Office skills, and ability to influence within and across multiple business groups within ICG for Security Services Operations. The primary test management responsibilities will be to establish and build the cross-functional relationship, align testing methodologies and test plans between the Custody business area partners. The position requires a seasoned test lead that has experience with managing project disciplines with a strong focus on test coverage design, metrics and reporting.

This role will lead the design for business process testing scenarios end to end with the cross-functional organizations in Product, Technology, and Operations. Using the Global UTT standards to capture and design the business process flows/scenarios the lead will work with the offshore support teams to develop repeatable test scripts across applications required for execution. This position will manage the execution of the test coverage design using standardized metrics to measure the productivity, report Quality standards during the execution phase.

In summary, the responsibilities throughout the project include; engaging the cross-functional partners from Product, Operations, Client Delivery and Technology to develop and obtain agreements for comprehensive end to end test coverage, manage UAT entrance and exit processes, execution management for testing teams onsite and offshore, and Sr. Management status reporting. Quality Metric’s and Estimates will need to be managed for resourcing based on size and scope of the test coverage design.

The candidate must have a background in Custody Services and understand financial services, business requirements and functional requirements. All testing will be performed utilizing the " Software Development Life Cycle " ( SDLC ) that requires a good understanding of process and control.

Responsibilities:

Global Test Lead

• Develop and Execute the Test Strategy.

• Client Facing: Participate in client discussions and engage appropriate Operations SME to facilitate solutions with client.

• Align Testing Plans, Schedule, Scope & Approvals with Funds & Custody Program Manager.

• Manage Global/Regional testing requests for Blue Custody Product offerings.

• Lead development of business process flows end to end and business scenarios traceable to requirements.

• Define end-to-end test environment plans to support test coverage designs and working with technology to secure environments for the testing lifecycle. **within existing UST & Product BOW deliverables.

• Develop test coverage using the Best Practice Methodology and facilitate sessions with cross-functional partners (OPS, Product, Client Delivery and Tech/SIT) to validate Business Requirements.

• For example, develop risk-based test coverage by mathematically determining permutations and spreads based on key selection criteria.

• Prepare testing estimates for project resources allocated to projects.

• Project reporting for all phases of the testing lifecycle. Communicate and report quality/health of testing based on key metrics from dependencies, quality of turnover of requirements and code from partners, performance of testing and teams ability to meet project deadlines.

• Manage traceability and test reporting from requirements to coverage, test execution and defect management.

• Lead the process with testing teams to develop test cases and scripts for front-end and back-end applications.

• Recommend and implement mid-course corrections to achieve testing deliverables and project deadlines.

• Requirement Reviews with Internal Operations Business Area's.

• Participate in the definition of end-to-end test case processing requirements from the back-end / source systems.

• Participate in the definition of data requirements for the back-end / source systems.

• Participate in the definition of detail testing coverage for all UAT Test Classes

• Lead and coordinate the execution of test scripts with offshore and cross functional test teams.

• Define daily, weekly & monthly execution plans.

• Publish Test Strategy PMO Artifacts for Approval.

• Manage Global Testing Planning Meetings for Custody.

• Facilitate cross-functional defect management calls to report findings, validate severity levels, and work with cross-functional partners to determine resolution.

• Ensure defects/issues are appropriately prioritized with technology for implementation.

• Manage Test Execution Planning with Regional Teams.

• Identify project risks and report & escalate issues related to test execution.

• Provide follow-up on the status of issues and action plans.

• Report and escalate problems and issues within the Defect Management lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of Securities Services Product Offerings is a plus.

• Ability to interact with varying levels within the business/product, operations and technology teams.

• Ability to develop and document test project procedures and implement process improvements.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities.

• The ability to influence cross functional groups.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and experience using Access Databases.
