The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for the development and delivery of training programs that target specific training needs within Global Business Services (GBS). This role may also develop and maintain training material, identify, analyze and report KPI’s, and organize and implement training strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities)

  • Review existing training documents and learning aids/tools used by GBS functions to ensure consistent and effective employee learning methods are utilized.

  • Work closely with GBS departments, Global Process Organization, and project teams to ensure training objectives are met.

  • Design, implement and oversee of the employee onboarding and training programs for GBS.

  • Collaborate with management to facilitate the onboarding of new employees and assist in the review of Employee Training Plans.

  • Serves as a Subject Management Expert to GBS departments regarding learning processes, styles, and best practices and ensures consistency across all teams

  • Support Department SMEs with the design and development of task-based training programs.

  • Analyze and develop Training key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of training programs at organization and department levels.

  • Work with site leadership on training strategy, methodology and delivery options.

  • Supports audit readiness to ensure successful results related to training.

  • Lead Training Needs Analysis (TNA) process to identify training and performance gaps at department/site level.

  • Create a training and knowledge assessment guideline for all training processes and liaise with leaders to cascade training guidelines.

  • Consult with leadership and provide guidance on the design, development, and delivery of training content, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.

  • Provide oversight and training to Training Team members.

  • Own and process training related quality incidents and CAPAs.

  • Assist in administration of Training Team's Agile documents and perform periodic reviews.

  • Assign Metro read events to employees, run compliance reports, and load knowledge assessments into METRO for GBS functions.

  • Design, resource, and deliver training programs, or recommend externally provided programs, which meet the needs of individuals and are consistent with the organization’s overall training plan.

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Dimensions – Education / Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree of any course.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Learning and Development with end-to-end training cycle capabilities.

  • Experience creating Computer-Based Training or e-learning content.

  • Experience in delivering high-priority, high-level goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct classroom training, online Instructor-led trainings and adaptability to any situation deemed necessary to deliver training.

  • Proficient in MS office with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Manages ambiguity and excels in autonomous decision-making.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to positively influence others.
