Description We are in search of a meticulous and diligent Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to become part of our team. The selected candidate will be stationed in ST CHARLES, Illinois, 60174-5410, United States, and will be instrumental in managing our accounts payable operations across our multiple sites in the US. This role is critical in the establishment of metrics, creation of processes, and handling of high volume invoices for several companies within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the accounts payable team across various sites

• Develop and implement metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function

• Design and establish processes for the accounts payable function

• Manage high volume invoice processing for multiple companies

• Hire and train staff for the accounts payable team

• Utilize Concur and NetSuite for various accounting functions

• Oversee the accounts payable team's performance and provide guidance for improvement

• Implement process improvements in the accounts payable function

• Handle expense reporting and other related tasks

• Ensure all accounting activities adhere to financial regulations and standards. Requirements • Must have a solid understanding of accounting principles, specifically in relation to the Accounts Payable function.

• Experience with Concur and other expense reporting systems is required.

• Must be able to manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.

• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct a team is imperative.

• Should have a strong proficiency in handling and performing various accounting functions.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Must have a high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure is necessary.

• Prior experience in a similar supervisory role within Accounts Payable is preferred.

• Familiarity with financial software and systems is a plus.

• Must be adaptable to change and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.

• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.

• Must have a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.

• Should be comfortable with problem-solving and decision-making tasks.

• Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
