Robert Half Customer Experience Specialist in South Burlington, Vermont

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Experience Specialist in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry, located in So. Burlington, Vermont. The role entails providing post-sale services of a technical nature, focusing on customer satisfaction and maintaining a high level of customer service. This role is 100% onsite and requires proficiency in technology tools and software.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries regarding parts and technical matters

• Utilize strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction

• Conduct basic troubleshooting for customers on 3 to 4 products after initial training

• Use SAP software and other technology tools to look up orders and address technical issues

• Assist in ordering parts for customers as needed

• Provide remote support and technical support to customers

• Participate in post-sales support to assist customers

• Be savvy with computer and/or software technology for efficient job performance. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in transportation equipment manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of customer account management.

• Demonstrable skills in enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High level of proficiency in using customer service software and databases.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Solid understanding of the manufacturing industry and related products.

• Ability to handle difficult customer situations with patience and professionalism.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and customer service best practices.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.

• Training in customer service or a related field is a plus.
