Product Data Specialist (Commerce)
BASIC FUNCTION
Support maintenance and configuration of Kohler Product Information Management system to support launch/discontinuation of products to marketing channels (online/offline). Primarily supporting Kitchen and Bath Group global digital marketing needs.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Make sure that product data governance is followed
Enrich existent product information data
Create automated reports for marketing to consume or understanding of existent reports that can be leverage by marketing teams to understand areas such as, but not limited to product performance, product launches, product discontinuation, etc.
SMEs of Datamart (custom data input and data normalization), inRiver (Kohler PIM) working to keep up-to-date with latest features of the systems, and understand how to do basic troubleshooting based on learnings/trainings
Understanding of inbound/outbound channels and how they impact PIM data
Coordinate with inRiver partner/Corp IT the connection to new outbound/inbound connectors based on business needs
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues
Identify and communicate potential improvements to the system based on business requirements and usage
Other miscellaneous data entry/validation tasks as required.
Work closely with the Digital Merchants, Merchandising Marketing Analyst and engineering to ensure complete and accurate product data information is collected
Develop and maintain appropriate documentation as required
Skills/Requirements
Required Skills:
Proven analytics skills and use of data query systems/tools (PowerBI, SQL, Microsoft access)
Detail orientation
Good organizational and follow-up skills
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision, be able to balance multiple tasks
Excellent customer service capabilities and strong problem-solving skills
Intermediate Microsite Office Suite experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with virtual/remote teams located in different geos
Ability to identify and resolve data conflicts in a timely manner
Experience with Jira/Confluence a plus
Experience using Digital Asset management systems
Experience using Product Information Management systems (a plus)
Experience working in fast-paced environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Graduate in any stream. 1-3 years of experience preferred.
Digital Marketing or Systems experience preferred.
Experience with Product Information Management Systems
Luxury, global brand experience preferred.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Travel required occasionally to get trainings in US or PIM trainings to non-us regions (5-10% a year)
Advanced English required
