Job Description:

The tax specialist is responsible for ensuring all 3M’s direct tax compliance, audit and reporting requirements in Korea are completed timely and accurately by effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders located in various geographical locations.

• Work with external service providers to prepare/review and submit corporate income tax, withholding tax returns

• Support tax manager in respect of tax audit, tax appeals and special projects (e.g., APA) in Korea

• Support outsourced service provider to prepare and review transfer pricing documentation.

• Support US GAAP income tax accounting and reporting, cash tax/effective tax rate forecast.

• Work with stakeholders to address tax concerns, mitigate tax risks, formulate and implement process improvements.

• Effective communication (speaking/writing) in English with various stakeholders located in various jurisdictions (US, Singapore, Poland, Philippines and India) is very important task to successfully carry out the above.

  Qualification

• Bechelor's degree or above.

• Majored in Finance/accountancy or related

• At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience

• Preferably in US multinational company and/or accounting firm

• Familiarity with SAP ERP system is preferred

• Self-starter team player who can take initiatives and be able to work independently, strong sense of ownership and problem solving ability

• Effective work prioritisation and time management

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
