Hundreds of thousands of customers rely on AWS Analytics, designed from the ground up to support the scale, performance, and availability needs of modern Analytics applications. As a Senior Analytics Sales Specialist, you will help shape the future of the Analytics platform industry and further establish AWS as the clear leader in cloud computing. We are seeking experienced enterprise IT sales specialists who can help deliver AWS Analytics value to the Korea’s most forward-thinking customers.

Key job responsibilities

Sales Specialists are the ultimate owner of the revenue and success goals of their services in the accounts/territories they are assigned to. Sales Specialists are empowered to pursue, create and develop opportunities for their service. They proactively grow usage and revenue for their specific service group within a defined geographic area/territory or vertical by executing known working sales plays.

• Manage a portfolio of 15+ AWS Analytics services including Data Lakes, Data Governance, Data Integration and Migration services

• Educate account teams on Analytics messaging, programs, and services

• Partner with business development/Go-To-Market specialist and solutions architecture teams to accelerate Analytics opportunities within strategic customer segments and key accounts

• Meet or exceed annual revenue targets

• Manage a robust sales pipeline and maintain an accurate revenue forecast

• Develop long-term and strategic relationships with key accounts and stakeholders

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Seoul, KOR

Basic Qualifications

  • 17+ years of experience selling technology solutions in Korea

  • 3+ years of experience selling Analytics solutions

  • Degree in computer science, information systems and business

  • Writing ability in English is a must.

  • Fluent English communication is a must

  • Proven track record of territory growth and quota attainment

  • Meet or exceed Amazon’s leadership principle’s requirements for this role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business

  • Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives

  • Experience working in a multi-national company with multiple business units
