Job Description

Developer Evangelist in the Oracle Database Cloud Team

Overview

Do you have experience building data-driven software applications on the Cloud? Do you love working with data infrastructure? Can you work equally well with developers and architects, in high-growth product teams that are technically broad and deep? Do you want to set the standard for developing best-in-class data-driven applications for Fortune 100 customers? Do you have the knack for simplifying complex concepts to make them easier to understand and implement, and blog about them?

You will create hands-on-labs, develop sample applications, write technical blogs, presenting at industry forums, and actively engage with the developer community. Closely partnering with Product Managers, this role influences architects, DBAs, CTO, CDO, and CIO. If you have the passion for coding, engaging developers, understanding deployment requirements, and are energized in a rapid prototyping environment, this challenge may be right for you.

  • Can-do attitude and results-orientation, working independently to overcome obstacles

  • Love for building sample code and publishing on GitHub/Stackoverflow for others to use

  • Experience in building and deploying a Cloud service, some experience with Gen AI pipelines (LLMs, LangChain, RAG, Vector databases)

  • Use of full stack development tools: Infrastructure architecture - CI/CD, Terraform, Maven, GitHub, Microservice frameworks at least one (Spring, Helidon, Quarkus, Micronaut), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, JMS messaging, React.js or other UI framework

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

  • Be able to independently go through the hands-on-labs at http://bit.ly/CloudBankOnOBaaS

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills

  • High degree of comfort with technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
