Sales Consultant – Integrator

The Integration Sales Consultant will develop and maintain relationships with indirect and direct integrator channel partners to increase market share for electronic security solutions to meet organizational goals. This role will develop supportive relationships with key business partners, leading to achievement of sales goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with target customersthrough a consultativesellingapproach and regular pattern of calls toachievesales goals.

  • Consultand trainintegratorpartners on productand solutionapplicationsthatmeet their needs, as well as theneeds of their customers.

  • Partner with integrator on identifying newavenuesfor increased revenuesandmargin.

  • Executestrategicselling capabilities within integrator(Owner,Operations,Sales).This is inclusive of leading dialogueand training.

  • Develop and maintain relationship with PhysicalAccessControlSoftware(PACs)regionalsalesmanagerand partner on identifying newavenuesforincreasing revenueandopportunities.

  • Partner with all internalcustomers(including sales,marketing,engineering,customerandtechnical services,andoperations) to ensurecompletecustomersatisfaction,commitment and loyalty to Allegion products and servicesleading toincreased revenue.

  • Adviseintegratorcustomers on product mix, applications, and promotionsthatmeettheirneeds.Suggestpossiblenewproducts and adaptations for productand/orsystemapplications.

  • Utilizeprofessionallevelsales skills in discussing security and safetysystems with securitydirectors, IT management,integrators,wholesalers,etc.

  • Followup on all job quotes with integratorpartnersto secureprojects and ensure a favorable mix of Allegion products.

  • Communicate the value of technologyand relate it to customerneeds.

  • Exhibit an understandingofelectromechanical products,applications, and solutions.

  • Understand completeaccesscontrolpackageincluding operationaldescriptionsand riser diagrams.

  • Supportbusinesspartnerinitiativesto maximizesalesresults.Collaboratewithbusinesspartnerstocreatedemand,develop/executestrategy, and successfullyclose orders. Participate in jointsalescalls and training;attend local,regionaland/ornationaltradeshows and associationmeetings.

  • Maintain excellent industry/territoryknowledgebyreviewing and understanding marketdata of competitiveactivity.Adapt to change in marketplace.

  • Maintain and utilizeCRM tool for salesreporting and to communicatesalesactivities.

  • Ensurepropercustomersand partners are adequatelytrained on new and existing products.

  • Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies,guidelines,and proceduresandensurecompliance

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Strong understanding of electricity,electroniccomponentsand totalsolution systems is required.Abilitytounderstand a completeaccesscontrolpackageincluding operationaldescriptions and riser diagrams.

  • Knowledge of mechanicaland electronicsolutions,including options spanning from mechanicalaccess/egresscontrolto totalfacilityintegration.

  • Abilitytoeffectivelycommunicatetotalsolution systemintegrationconcepts to variouslevels of end userknowledgebase isrequired.

  • Experienceproviding consultation and direction on securityand safetysystemswithsecuritydirectors, IT management,integrators,wholesalers,etc. is required.

  • Demonstratedexperienceinfluencing others with a bias for action.

  • Customer–centricfocus and abilityto thrive in a team selling environment.

  • Strong verbaland written communication and presentation skills is required.Abilitytocommunicate the value of technologyand relate it to the customerneeds.

  • Abilitytotravelup to50%Western Canadaterritory. (Alberta and British Columbia)

  • Post-Secondary Education or 5 years equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years salesexperience in thesecuritysolution industrypreferred
