Fabric R&D Sr. Specialist

TheFabric R&D Sr Specialistwill support and assist the Raw Materials team with executing seasonal fabric development.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Executes technical fabric developments to line up with mill strategy

• Evaluates mill pricing & provides feedback to Sourcing

• Maintains development charts and master fabric menus, provides to cross functional teams

• Adheres to Time & Action calendar, ensuring all development and testing deadlines are met

• Participates in seasonal trend direction and marketing intelligence efforts

• Travels domestically and internationally, as needed

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• 4-year College degree or equivalent business experience preferred.

• Two to four years' experience working in fabric development

• Solid knowledge of fabric & raw material global costs

• Energetic self-starter; very comfortable working both independently and within a team

• Detail-oriented; highly organized

• Strong analytical skills

• Product Line Management (PLM) system knowledge
