The United States Marine Corps (USMC) VH-92 Training System is the US Navy’s program to provide realistic and effective training to the HMX-1 aircrew and maintainers. This is to prepare for and support the critical Presidential Lift Mission.

The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the program execution (cost, schedule, technical) on a Firm Fixed Price contract as well as ROS (sales, orders, EBIT) commitments to the Corporation. The selected candidate will lead and integrate professionals from engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, and operations to ensure performance to the contract baseline. The candidate must be able to integrate disparate data during execution, be able to drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop correction action path forward when necessary.

This PM role includes the necessity to execute flawlessly for the USMC and demonstrate the value of Lockheed Martin’s Training Architecture. The ability to create, maintain, and leverage Customers and relationships will be a priority. The PM will be responsible for working with the customer very closely and briefing senior leadership on program execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 - 5+ Years of Program Management experience

• Knowledge and understanding of Earned Value Management (EVMS) and processes associated with development, implementation, and management of cost and schedule baselines

• Demonstrated Control Account Manager (CAM) experience

• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple

• Demonstrated proposal management experience

• Demonstrated design/development experience

projects/customers concurrently

• Expertise in relationship building and strong communication with internal and external customers and employees at all levels and across multiple cultures

• DOD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with the US Navy, NAVAIR or other military customers

• Capture/proposal experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs

• Demonstrated ability developing and executing strategic objectives

• Training and Simulation programmatic experience

• Ability to travel domestically on an as needed basis

• Ability to lead in a remote/hybrid environment

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
