Perform EHS maintenance, testing, and other related duties, in keeping with regulatory and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform EHS Preventive Maintenance (Sprinkler System, emergency lamps, emergency doors, fire detection, eye wash showers, etc).

• Provide EHS maintenance and testing (e.g., Fire Fighting System (Fire Hose, Fire Detectors, Extinguisher, Sprinklers, Fire Pump) Emergency Doors, Emergency Lights, Chemical response Kits, Mill for Scrap, Signs and Labels)

• Perform daily inspection on safety conditions in building 15 and 11.

• Verify compliance of contractor personnel with safety rules for work to be done and sign work permits issued.

• Collect recyclable material in the clean room, receive recycling company staff and maintain required documentation.

• Review status of spill response kits

• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period

• Other incidental duties (e.g. occasional photo copying or deliveries, Supervise the collection of samples for microbiology testing drinking fountain of cafeteria.)

Education and Experience:

Other: in Graduate from a recognized Technical Training institution, including completion of technical internship No previous related experience Required

basic knowledge of electricity Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Good communication skills

• Able to read and comprehend English

• Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite

• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions

• Work in a Team environment

• Moderate knowledge of EHS maintenance, testing, and other related duties to the handling of hazardous waste materials

• Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
