Vontier Manager- Sales in Mumbai, India

Position purpose:

§ Responsible for major customer delivery communications to ensure consistency and hold internal functions accountable.

§ Act as a conduit between all internal delivery functions (Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain/Logistics and Support) and the customers.

§ Responsible for being single point of contact for direct customers and channel partners, primarily in India

§ To understand, evaluate and document the business needs and technical requirements of the customer solution and to design solutions utilising a mixture of Invenco and other payment products

§ Mix of pre-sales and business analysis and provides an important link between the customer and the business development and technical teams

§ To provide additional support in APAC for existing and prospect accounts . Location Indicate the primary location for this position. Also indicate if travel is required and how often the candidate would be required to travel Where if required.

Role and Responsibility:

· Customer management / solution

• Build and maintain relationships with customers and provide the “link” between the customer, the Business Development and the technical teams.

• Ensure financial stability for the customer and the Invenco finance team

• Run customer workshops in conjunction with Project Managers and development team.

• Ensure agreed customer requirements are delivered.

• Perform a quality check of the development as a “pseudo” customer.

• Manage clarifications with the customer during the UAT cycle of the project.

• Convey professionalism and industry knowledge to the customer.

• Support other Solution Consultants as required.

• Responsible for onboarding process for new partners

· Solution design

• Design solutions for customers in line with company strategy of providing best in class products and solutions for the industry.

• Work with internal teams to research and design solutions for customers using Invenco & external Vendors products/solutions.

• Work with business development to translate customer and market needs into a technical solution.

• In combination with the business development team/s, identify the customers’ key business drivers and requirements.

• Ensure design provides a tailored solution and alternatives that meets their business and technical needs and aligns with company direction of reusable design and configuration.

• Conduct site visits, customer discussions and interviews.

• Deliver clearly documented business requirements for the solution, that have been signed off by the customer and stakeholders, in standard templates to enable the project team to begin development. Provide clarification as needed.

• Deliver and or Contribute to the documentation of proposals and statement of works.

• To ensure the solution developed accurately meets customers’ needs, continue to clarify business requirements during the life of the project, liaising between customer and development team. Document and manage clarification requests and elicit replies from customers throughout the lifecycle, including the pilot.

• Validate/Challenge internal quotations/estimates as a “pseudo” customer

• Assist the product management team to define product roadmaps and generic products that meet market needs and trends by providing feedback and knowledge gained during customer and market needs analysis.

• Stay up to date with an in-depth knowledge of Invenco and related industry products/trends technology.

• Share ideas and communicate via regular meetings and presentations with the team.

• Provide Business development team/s and product management teams with customer feedback on product and market requirements.

• Maintaining a strong relationship with the Product team to communicate customer requirements, priorities and key use cases which need to be addressed in the core hardware and software product roadmaps

• Ensuring customer solutions are designed in line with product direction

· Pre-Sales

· Production of responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Pricing.

· Production of Proposals and Statements of Work.

· Development of Industry specific and technical whitepapers

· Understand the technical and functional aspects of the Invenco & external vendor product range and existing customer solutions, including their strengths and weaknesses

· Communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences.

· Demonstrate the functionality of the products and solutions to assist the Business Development team to achieve revenue targets.

· Create and present high-quality PowerPoint presentations to assist Business Development personnel.

· Work with Business Development Personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.

· Attendance at conferences and working with Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business issues/requirements/regulations/technology and understand where the market is going.

· Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors.

· Responsible for preparing for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process.

· Responsible for providing feedback from the market to the Product management teams regarding products including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands.

· Customer communications

· Regular communications with the clients by monthly sync meetings to keep them updated on

· Delivery Schedules/forecasts

· RMA Updates

· Software maintenance

· Quality Improvement initiatives

· Retrofit Kits

Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have

· Experience leading and motivating a team

· Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Sciences

· Understand Payment, POS and ideally the Fuel-Retail Industry

· Technical understanding of payments, including EMV, ISO8583, AS2805 The payment cycle, switching, POS integration and bank certifications including TIP

· Able to demonstrate thorough understanding of software development lifecycle models

· A good understanding of the software SDLC including requirements gathering, specification, agile development, testing, verification, deployment and support

Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have

· Experience of successfully implementing software development projects using Agile methodologies

· Commercial focus

· Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams including Developers, Architects, Business Analysts and QA across geographical locations.

· Strong knowledge and understanding of both business and customer needs with the ability to establish and maintain high levels of customer trust and confidence.

Proven ability to work with geography dispersed and culturally diverse teams
