Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Sales Analyst (Lottery Specialist 2) in Middletown, Pennsylvania

As a Sales Analyst you will support the Sales and Retail Operations and Corporate divisions through research, sales analysis, creating and generating reports and providing customer service to the internal teams. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Duties of this position include using lottery platforms to collect and store sales data to identify insights and trends, presenting findings of research and analysis to the Sales and Retail Operations and Corporate Teams, assisting the divisions in decision making, and communicating data driven insights and trends to the Sales/Retail Operations and Corporate team members.

This position manages individual requests for reports, produces comprehensive sales reporting based on findings, and manages projects and sales data long-term. You will have the opportunity to participate in meetings with management to establish project goals and to determine the scope of projects, the utilization of resources, and the methodologies to be utilized.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework).  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown.  Please know that this position will be required to report to headquarters office for meetings and/or based on operational need. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Lottery Specialist 1 (commonwealth title); or Six years of experience managing a retail business, servicing retail sales accounts, or marketing products to retail accounts, which includes advertising, marketing communications, product research, or promotion; or Two years of professional marketing, advertising, or merchandising experience and a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, data science, economics, or a related field.

Additional Requirements: This position is located at Lottery Headquarters, Middletown, Pennsylvania. You must be able to work in Middletown, Pennsylvania. This position is full-time telework. You will be required to report to the headquarters office in Middletown, Pennsylvania for meetings and/or for operational need. This position may require multiple overnights in a week and/or day travel. You must be able to travel as required. You must have experience in data/business analysis. You must have experience in designing research projects. You must have experience in writing, reviewing and interpreting reports. You must have experience with data visualization. You must have experience with Microsoft suite with a concentration in Excel. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Criteria: Specify your level of education, such as Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Some college or other. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a relevant degree.
