Scentsy is looking for anIT Systems Engineerto manage infrastructure-related activities needed to support the company’s e-commerce business, as well as manage and support all other internal corporate services.

What You Will Do:

• Write complex infrastructure as code where available

• Design, test and implement disaster recovery plans

• Influence the architecture, design, and implementation of technology to ensure the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data

• Design and implement new systems

• Implement, maintain, and support Telephony, VOIP and Contact Center Systems

• Interface with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements as they pertain to changes in business requirements, processes, and information systems

• Triage complex system performance and identify root cause; ensure server uptime and availability. Address escalated issues from junior engineers and inform leadership of issues with recommended action plan

• Design and manage the Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file and print services

• Manage server architecture and software installation, setup, and upgrades. EX: Controller debug, storage software recovery.

• Create complex tools for infrastructure monitoring and automation; resolve any issues while running in production and test environments

• Communicate and collaborate regarding change management, configuration, design, and implementation of supported products and systems. Coordinate communications to impacted users

• Create, update, and maintain pertinent documentation for procedures, policies, permissions, and landscape

• Collaborate and assist other departments with web and application server analysis, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting

• Plan, schedule, and execute routine patching and updates for operating systems, applications, and firmware

• Maintain a comprehensive patch management strategy to address security vulnerabilities and maintain system performance

We're Looking For:

• 5 years of System Engineering experience including scripting, storage, windows server, datacenter technologies, and hardware and network infrastructure design

• Solutions Expert or equivalent certification in Linux, Windows, VMware, AWS, or Citrix

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or demonstrated equivalent

• Strong knowledge of complex scripting, system deployment automation, and hardware and network infrastructure design.

• Strong knowledge of complex on-prem and cloud networking systems, and applications.

• Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

• Strong knowledge of complex web applications and server hardware.

• Strong knowledge of complex DNS including troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Strong troubleshooting skills within the server infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of complex network architecture, infrastructure design, network tools, troubleshooting, and implementation.
