Eversource Energy Manager, Energy Efficiency Implementation (Hybrid) in Manchester, New Hampshire

In this role within the energy efficiency department, you will oversee the implementation and development of our residential efficiency programs in MA and NH.

Your goals will be to increase customer uptake of residential energy efficiency services and offerings, as well as improve customer satisfaction. This includes playing a key role in reducing the energy burden to our most vulnerable and disadvantaged customers. To accomplish these goals, you will manage and create energy efficiency programs that help single family and multifamily customers lower their energy usage and save on their energy expenses.

You will collaborate with external stakeholders and energy efficiency contractors, as well as internal partners from customer experience, evaluation, marketing, and regulatory compliance to accomplish the goals which also help to lower carbon emissions.

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the delivery, implementation, and administration of the residential energy efficiency portfolio in MA and NH.
  • Responsible for contractor and vendor management and oversight
  • Responsible for achieving specific Residential Energy Efficiency production goals, KPIs, and other company objectives within defined budgets.
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and professional development for a team of Supervisors and Energy Efficiency Consultants
  • Implement strategic initiatives to residential markets with energy efficiency services that provide customer-focused solutions and achieve energy efficiency market transformation goals.
  • Coordinates with energy efficiency Program Administrator Utility partners, as well as with Eversource Energy efficiency and decarbonization program leadership
  • Ensures efficient and effective coordination of energy efficiency inquiries between the Company and its regulatory representatives.

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ideal candidate will have ten (10) plus years of experience managing complex projects/initiatives.
  • An understanding of the regulatory process and experience with productive stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial building systems, general marketing principles and market research techniques
  • Experience in defining and meeting program goals and metrics.
  • Experience and ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written correspondence and presentations.
  • Experience managing staff and encouraging professional development.

Education:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $147,000 - $163,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.'
