C rane Aerospace & Electronics hasan exciting opportunity for an Engineering Applications & Services Supervisor at our Lynnwood, WA site.

Job Summary:

The Engineering Apps & Services (EAS) Supervisor is a hands-on role that will be responsible for providing support for applications used by all engineering disciplines including Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems. The scope of responsibility includes all aspects of applications acquisition, deployment, and partnership with IT Infrastructure & Security to maintain a secured and controlled environment for all EAS computing resources.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage COTS software acquisitions, evaluations, installation/configuration,maintenance/renewal, and technical support.

  • Negotiate, track software costs and provide financial inputs for budget planning.

  • Coordinate staff to provide continuous support to maintain Production up-time for EAS systems across multiple time-zones in U.S. andoverseas.

  • Partner with recruiting to identify and develop talent, manage performance and succession planning.

  • Partner with IT Infrastructure and Security team to address vulnerabilities and system upgrades in accordance with cyber security requirements.

  • Manage and represent EAS for all change requests in Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings.

  • Manage or provide support for EAS projects of various types and complexity.

  • Responsible for internal or external audits of EAS software and systems for approved usage and compliance.

  • Any other task assigned by your supervisor ormanagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience : Five (5) years of experience in similar role in a high volume environment. One (1) year of people management or equivalent leadership role.

  • Knowledge : Knowledge of various operating systems, security and regulatory requirements in an IT environment. Previous management of people, programs, and processes. Knowledge of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, server operating systems, network configurations and protocols.

  • Skills/Abilities : Demonstrated experience in budgeting, supplier management, customer support, planning and assigning resources. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service andleadership skills.

  • Education/Certification : BS degree computer oriented technical discipline or equivalent.

  • Eligibility Requirement :This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SCCM a plus.

Salary range: $109,000 to $141,000. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Compensation packages also include comprehensive benefits, 401K contribution and match, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and more.
