We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Representative to help us establish AWS as the market leader for database services that address our customers' needs.

As a specialized sales representative for this exciting and rapidly-evolving space, you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of established and emerging technologies that will have a significant impact on our customer’s digital innovation strategy.

Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration of the industry’s broadest and deepest portfolio of database solutions, with game-changing products such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Neptune, DocumentDB, etc.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven track record in Database sales and background in customer engagements at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding and experience interacting with developers and technical architects

  • Experience creating and articulating compelling value propositions around Database solutions (AWS, other cloud providers)

  • Experience driving revenue and market share for AWS Database services (or other providers) in a defined territory or industry vertical and meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue target while develop and execute a comprehensive account/ segment/ territory plan, accelerating customer adoption of database services.

  • Ability to manage the end-to-end commercial process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Executives and Partners, etc.

  • Manage and maintain a robust and accurate pipeline and forecast and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication abilities, coupled with adept problem-solving skills, are indispensable attributes for success in this role.
