Sr. Business Intelligence Developer for Hach Company in Loveland, CO to design and develop information technology (IT) solutions that meet the reporting needs of the business. Work closely with IT management and subject matter experts to develop reporting and dashboard solutions that facilitate business-based questioning, decision-making and other process improvements. Develop and implement reporting and dashboard solutions. Develop and maintain ETL solutions. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to maintain global data warehouse. Manage small to medium sized IT related projects. Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans. Work with business associates and IT management to design and document project scope and specifications. Lead small and medium projects. Develop and implement reports and dashboards. Define, design, and implement Data Warehouse (DW) architecture, logic, and physical implementation. Define, document, and develop mapping rules for movement of data from disparate data sources and into the various components and subject areas.

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience working with relational databases.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience working with relational databases.

Up to 10% international travel required.

Telecommuting position - can be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Skills Required:

Experience must include: creating data models including robust metadata, entity-relationship-attribute models, as well as relational, dimensional, and graph models; developing transition logical models to physical implementation of data structures in SQL and No-SQL data bases; working with Inmon/Kimball methodologies and approaches to data warehousing and dimensional design; designing, building, maintaining and improving complex relational and dimensional data structures; partnering with functional and technical teams to define, design and deliver robust data integrations integrated with transactional systems, master data management systems and business data warehouse solutions that meet business needs; implementing flexible data integration solutions to integrate disparate data source using real time, near real time and batch data integrations using APIs, and ELT/ETL forward and reverse pipelines; providing program and support metrics to stakeholders identifying projects in the queue, prioritization, cost, ROI, resources, and timeline required to complete projects; using/working with Talend, Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, Change Data Capture, Data Encryption/Decryption, SFTP, etc. technologies; Python/R programming language for data processing and data integration; and delivering solutions in cloud environments, preferably Azure and AWS.
