We are looking for an Associate Specialist in Ruminant Metabolism , to lead, manage, and support collaborative research projects. The focus will be on combining ideas from various scientific fields to address enteric methane mitigation and improve animal performance. The goal is to achieve multiple benefits at the system level, including enhanced livelihoods and long-term environmental change.

A Day in the Life of an Associate Specialist Ruminant Metabolism
Propose and drive new ideas and projects for enteric methane mitigation and animal performance improvement
Design and conduct scientific studies and trials to test and validate technologies in vitro & in vivo
Contribute to publications, communications, and patents
Support technology transfer to Nestlé Product and Technology Center/Operation teams
Provide accurate advice and support to R&D, Business Units, and Operations
Stay updated on enteric methane mitigation and commercial developments
Communicate project results to scientific and business audiences
What will make you successful
Ph.D. in ruminant sciences (ruminant metabolism, nutrition, physiology, microbiome)
3 years research experience in ruminant for enteric methane reduction and improved animal performance
Proficiency in relevant in-vitro and ex-vivo models
Proven track record of effective scientific communication, including presenting at scientific meetings
Fluent in English
