Role reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Las Piedras, PR
Travel %: 10%
What You Will Do
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible to coordinate the activities necessary for the completion of all production plans. Supervise, train, coordinate, and distribute tasks among all employees for the operation. Assure proper maintenance of facilities manufacturing equipment, in a compliance environment of a 24 hours / 7 days operation. Support the development of special projects and initiatives established by the Company's' Business Plan. Review (when required) and approve the manufacturing and packaging records.
Key Responsibilities: Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations, and Kenvue policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- All employees:
- Attends GMP trainings on the schedule designated for the role and as appropriate for the role.
- Adheres to strict compliance with procedures applicable to the role.
- Exercises the highest level of integrity in the tasks performed.
- In a timely and prompt manner, identifies, reports and seeks correction for deviations noted in the workplace.
- Embraces a behavior of employee involvement and commitment to doing the job right the first time.
- People Managers:
- Ensures employees under the scope of responsibility are trained in required procedures for the execution of their role and maintains current with training requirements during the year.
- Promotes an environment of employee involvement in the workplace.
- Seeks prompt identification, reporting and correction of deviations in the workplace as noted by employees.
Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS): Comply with the requirements established in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program and the ISO 14001 Standard, including:
- Use of the personal protection equipment
- Fire protection
- Spill reporting (includes hazardous waste), incidents and/or "near misses"
- Environmental compliance with permits and action plans (applies to supervisors and managers)
- Complies with specific EHS program requirements (i.e, forklift operations, Ergonomics Program, LockOut/TagOut, and Process Safety Management) as applicable.
Area Responsibilities:
- Assigns instructions to the Operators and Mechanics Operators during their shifts, for the executing of the Production Plan.
- Coordinates equipment maintenance and assures the supply of materials, machinery and other necessary equipment, to ensure the efficiency of the operation.

What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; preferable in Engineering, Administration or Natural Sciences
- From one (1) to three (3) years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferable.
- Experience working as a Supervisor or leader role.
- Proficiency in English/Spanish is required (oral and written).
- This position is to work on the 3rd shift
- Able to travel in and outside of Puerto Rico.
- Able to work extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that require returning to the company, and to work alternate shifts.
- Available to work in other areas, according to business strategies.
Desired Qualifications
- Sedentary work that requires minimum effort.
- It also requires skills in communication, eye-hand coordination, ability to move and manual skills.
- Tolerance to the use of personal protective equipment for respiratory airways.
- In occasions, climbing, kneeling and stooping. Occasionally requires movements of objects such as: lifting, pushing, loading and hauling. Requires near visual acuity and hearing, medium and distant.
