NTA, Inc. is seeking an experienced guidance and control engineer, with a focus in position, navigation and timing (PNT), to support the PEO MandS Office of the Chief Engineer. Duties include coordination, advising and vetting technical information for the Office of the Chief Engineer. Technical fluency is desired in one or more of the following areas: missile-system related GPS testing; assured PNT development; inertial integration; emerging navigation sensors (i.e. star trackers, magnetometers, etc..); and filtering (to include federated filters). The position will also support Science and Technology (SandT) coordination between PEO MandS and Army Futures Command; ability to gain knowledge of SandT processes is expected. Additional duties may include travel, cross engineering-discipline collaboration, consolidating program office responses, and developing, or vetting, test plans across the PEOs. Direct communications with high-ranking senior Army leadership, both civilian and officers, is required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 8 - 15 years of experience

Required:

• Engineering experience with complex highlyintegratedsystems
• Familiarity with navigation, guidance, and control
• Proficient in gathering requirements, designing, developing, and deployment of hardware and software in government platforms
• Fluency in writing and documenting technical engineering concepts
• Organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with high-ranking government officials
• A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired:

• Experience applying systems engineering approaches to integrate subsystems into larger systems
• Guidance and Control Theory experience
• Familiaritywith Army SandT processes
• Experience with PNT, guidance and controls, ormissileplatforms
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulations and/or embedded systems
• Experience with filtering and combing sensors for assured navigation
• Design of Experiment (DoE) capabilities

Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
