Reporting to the VP Customer Growth & Marketing this position supports the overall business planning, management and strategic development of the Issuing business across Germany & Austria with a particular focus on profitably growing the customer base.

This role is ideal for someone with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish collaborative partnerships across the Issuing organization and key stakeholders across the Blue Box. The incumbent enjoys learning something new on a daily basis and operates confidently in ambiguous situations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for urgent business issues and initiatives.

  • Contribute to the effective running of the Customer Growth & Marketing organisation.

  • Make recommendations and share insights on important business decisions, ensuring that business decisions are effectively communicated and implemented.

  • Responsible for managing meeting content and presentations, including updates to senior leaders. Particular emphasis on creating effective and impactful presentations to summarize complex thoughts and solutions.

  • Build a strong network across the organization, with a focus on Finance and Operational Excellence.

  • Manage centrally owned processes as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree, preferably with a focus on business

  • Ideally 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Proven strategic thinker who possesses the confidence and composure required to effectively communicate with senior leaders

  • Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills in both English & German

  • Outstanding relationship building skills with the ability to influence without authority across peers and superiors and drive projects with little direction

  • Pragmatic and highly solution oriented working manner

  • Proven financial and commercial acumen

  • Excellent organization and planning skills are essential

  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, make decisions quickly and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • High level of integrity required for handling confidential information

  • High energy, an optimistic attitude and a good sense of humour
