As a

Relief Operator,

you must have diverse understanding of multiple roles within food operations to cover breaks, lunches and absences. Ability to successfully perform roles and responsibilities of all Operator positions. Responsible for set-up / tear downs, monitoring and recording the operations of assigned machinery/equipment as required

OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requires the learning and operating of different types of automatic food manufacturing equipment. Have clear understanding on how to disassemble and reassemble various equipment
• Make any machine adjustments necessary during operation as required
• Have the knowledge and ability to perform duties of any position within the bar manufacturing process
• Trouble shoot equipment to improve and maintain operation efficiencies
• Assist in training of new operators
• Fills in for other employees while they are on break, lunch, absent, on vacation or personal time off
• Visually inspect the machine as it is running to verify that it is running within normal operating parameters
• Take in-process measurements with proper documentation as required
• Make minor equipment adjustments as necessary
• Maintain machine in reasonably clean condition during the product run
• Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout and after run
• Work in accordance with the established policies and procedures to maintain a clean/safe working environment within the facility and property surrounding the building
• Meet or exceed daily production requirements as set by the production schedule
• Perform other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING(MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS )

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 year working in a food manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of food manufacturing processes, tools and machines
• Be able to understand and perform following directions given, understand Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and maintain high quality workmanship
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written to employees in various positions and at all levels
• Bewilling to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands
