The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processes

  • Conduct nonconforming materials investigation and report to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to implement corrective actions

  • Engages management as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues

  • Support new product quality plan implementations

  • Ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework

  • Support ISO 9001 QMS

  • Other research or related activities as deemed necessary

Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent

  • 2 - 3 years experience

  • Strong process adherence

  • Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable

  • Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment

  • Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)

  • Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision

  • Intermediate problem solving skills

  • Prior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry) is a plus
