Machine Operators needed for a chemical plant in Evans City. This is an entry level position responsible for performing all repetitive/routine tasks associated with daily production of alcoholates, boranes, PPD, MOX and cylinder processing. Primary responsibilities are to follow operating procedures to create, control and transfer batches of products per project. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and able to work with common hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, air and battery-operated tools). Basic knowledge of common household chemicals and hazards is also required.

Requires:

• 12- 18 months experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
• Basic Math skills- Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide and convert fractions to decimals.
• Basic Computer skills: Windows, Office/Email systems.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including face shields, glasses, gloves, hard hats and so forth. 
• Prefer experience wearing more advanced PPE, including respirators. 
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Prefer forklift experience
• GED/High School Diploma preferred.

Rotating 12- Hour Shift Schedule: Must be able to work all of the shifts and rotate between days and nights.

This is a temp to hire position with the possibility of long-term employment if you are a good fit. This job offers the opportunity for advancement.
