We are looking for a Global Supplier Quality Management (SQM) leader who wants to achieve outstanding results in an intercultural environment.

Together you will break new ground with us:

  • You will be responsible for the worldwide supplier qualification and development of motion control and you will strategically drive SQM forward, based on the QM strategy. In this context, the development and implementation of our digitalization vision is one of your primary tasks.

  • With your globally distributed direct and indirect teams, you will be responsible for implementing measures to continuously improve supplier quality.

  • It is your responsibility to control supplier problem management using 8D processes, conduct global process audits and participate in the claim process.

  • Together with our purchasing department and other cross-functional partners, you will develop the global and local material field strategy. In particular, risk management, procurement strategy, supplier performance and sustainability play a role.

  • You will ensure the definition and roll-out of SQM-relevant processes, methods and regulations and play a decisive role in global implementation.

  • Additionally you will carry out reporting and controlling of SQM-relevant KPIs to ensure that SQM's activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory and customer requirements as well as our company's ecosystem principles.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Studies & Certification: Engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, production technology or comparable as well as a certification as an auditor (f/m/d), ideally VDA 6.3.

  • Experience and skills: Many years of people management experience in the field of QM, especially

  • Risk analysis

  • Supplier management

  • Preventive quality planning (e.g. process FMEA, initial sampling of purchased parts, etc.)

  • Problem management (such as 8D, Ishikawa, etc.)

  • Quality assurance in the manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of drive technology, preferably motors, controls and converters, is advantageous.

  • Motivation to go the extra mile and achieve excellent results thanks to your reliable and structured way of working.

  • Through your positive mindset and empathetic leadership style, you drive things forward and make a valuable contribution to the quality assurance of our suppliers.

  • Language skills: You should have very good German and English skills, as well as intercultural empathy and extensive experience in working and communicating in a global network; ideally you already have international experience.

  • Willingness to travel: Willingness to make monthly global business trips is required.
