Training Analysis and Feedback Analyst

KBR is seeking a skilled analyst to provide Training Analysis and Feedback (TAF) functions in support of exercises. This position entails providing professional advice and analysis for exercise events in all phases of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and contributing to organizational continuity of the 32d AAMDC by developing procedures to capture and archive lessons learned, best practices and pertinent data developed throughout the JELC. The analyst assists in developing training exercise concepts, technical requirements, scenario lines of effort, themes and events; and observation plans to meet Commander’s Training Objectives and provide feedback through After Action Reviews (AAR), exercise reports and briefings.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform data collection and analysis of external evaluations and assessments conducted by Observer Controller / Trainers (OC/T).

  • Provide evaluation input and expertise in developing the observation plan for the OC/T, assist in conducting the OC/T training academy and ensuring all observations are properly filled out, analyzed, and put into the training assessment feedback database.

  • Collaborate with the lead exercise planner and OC/T to develop mid and final AAR briefings and products. Assist in preparing the AAR by gathering exercise produced data such as mission command products, reports, briefings and applicable doctrinal references.

  • Assist in writing the Executive Summary for all supported events and providing the training audience with a formal take home packet consisting of all observations and final assessments.

  • Capture and archive all data in accordance with Knowledge Management procedures providing scenario data for future reference.

  • Attend planning meetings, conferences, and working group sessions.

Skills Required:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work independently, establish priorities, organize work and maintain performance under pressure of multiple conflicting deadlines

The ideal candidate will have experience with and working knowledge of the Joint Exercise Process, the Army Military Decision Making Process, and the Orders Process.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have SECRET Security clearance

  • Must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
