Facilities Engineer Interns are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various buildings, facilities, and equipment. They work to ensure that all facilities are operational, that any issues are identified and resolved promptly, and that the facilities are in compliance with all applicable regulations. The responsibilities of a facilities engineer intern may include reviewing construction or production bids, analyzing material and labor costs, and assisting with overall plant operations.
