The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a hybrid Model-Based Systems Engineer and Modeling and Simulation professional to support our customer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). As a member of our engineering team, you will work alongside engineers and software developers to create and implement authoritative engineering models and scenarios that contribute to our nation's defense.

In this role, the MBSE/M&S Engineer will have a hybrid responsibility of doing 50% creating and reading MBSE models and 50% translating those models to software.

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant Engineering field
• Working knowledge of principles and practices related to systems engineering
• Ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Required Experience:

• Experience with MBSE, SysML, and digital engineering tools; including Cameo/MagicDraw
• Experience with software development in C++ or Python (or other object-oriented language)

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use-cases
• Experience with integrating analytical/simulation tools with MBSE tools
• Experience with software engineering and integrating different software platforms/tools
• Experience with systems integration, system engineering concepts, and systems modeling
• Experience with modeling and simulation tools including AFSIM, ITASE, or NGTS
• Experience with Agile development processes and practices
• Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners or similar
• Experience in supporting government customers
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Current security clearance
