Summary

Freeman is seeking a Part-Time Quality Control Technician who will inspect audio, video, and projection equipment as well as perform quality checks and test equipment by setting it up, operating it, and performing preventative maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Trouble shoots and diagnoses problems with equipment and performs minor repairs as needed

• Must have good knowledge of diagnostics or have the ability to learn to effectively utilize test equipment

• Refurbishes equipment that is not in good condition by cleaning, painting and replacing missing parts

• Returns equipment to inventory if in good working condition. If major repairs are needed, fills out proper paperwork, updates computer database, and forwards equipment to the service department in accordance to QC procedures

• Recommends modifications to existing packing or casing standards to reduce damage to equipment resulting from packing or transportation

• When requested, assists rental and/or show services in loading and unloading equipment from trucks

Education & Experience

• Minimum one (1) + years related bench experience

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must have a valid driver's license

• High School Diploma or GED
