Responsibilities: Perform legal office support work; review all new case files to identify victims; contact and assist victims of crime and their families with problems related to the crime; assess needs of victims of crime, provide support, recommend, and locate community resources for services; consult and collaborate with attorneys, investigators and other staff members regarding care, problems, and solutions for victims of crime. Communicate and advise victims regarding judicial information including their rights as a crime victim. Orient victims to courtroom practices, procedures, and personnel. Document services provided to victims of crime.

Working hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, plus two years clerical or office management experience. Must possess a clear criminal history.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related field, plus experience working in a legal environment or in victim services, and the ability to type 45 WPM.

Starting Hourly Salary Range: $17.17 - $18.24 per hour
