Financial Reporting Senior Manager

EMEA Regulatory Reporting Citi Solutions Centre (CSC) in Budapest is a key part of the Finance function. It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of reporting across multiple countries. The Material Legal Entities Banking Regulatory Reporting team prepare reports covering the financials, capital and liquidity status of Citi’s European banking subsidiaries.

As part of this team of diverse and supportive professionals, the area we are inviting you to get involved in deals with the capital ratios, credit risk and market risk profile and leverage of the bank. While working with teams located across the globe the Financial Reporting Senior Manager will be responsible to lead his/her team for the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports and regulatory returns.

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across various functions, principally within Finance and Risk.

  • Leverage your expertise to ensure COREP and other returns are prepared to high standards.

  • Coach and develop your team to achieve objectives.

  • Engage your stakeholders in Country Finance, Markets Controllers, Treasury and other departments.

  • Assess risks and issues related to the reporting process and work with your management to establish plans to mitigate or resolve them.

  • Express a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results.

  • Benefit from your organized personality, attention to detail and independent working style.

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • 8+ years of work experience in finance, risk management or audit roles.

  • Experience with COREP or risk reporting will be helpful.

  • Management experience will be an advantage.

  • Interpersonal skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority using the English language.

  • Enthusiastic team player.
