Broome-Tioga BOCES Administrator for Instructional Support Services in Binghamton, New York
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and coordinate professional learning, in collaboration with the Professional Learning & Innovation Center team including, but not limited to:
Instructional Practices
Multi-tiered Systems of Support
Performance-Based Learning and Assessment
Restorative Practices
Support districts with statewide initiatives including, but not limited to, the individual arts assessment pathway (IAAP), regional seal of biliteracy, and seal of civic readiness work
Lead and supervise internal teams of instructional support specialists (professional development staff)
Assist with budget development and management
Serve as administrative point of contact for the Teacher Center of Broome County
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS teacher certification in School District Leader (SDL)
Five years successful classroom teaching experience
Experience as an administrator and/or Instructional Support Specialist preferred
