Job Title: Litigation Paralegal ( Commercial Litigation)

Location: Bethesda, MD (Fully In-Office Role)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex commercial litigation (employment litigation is a plus) possessing a strong understanding of legal procedures, document preparation, and litigation management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with attorneys on challenging and rewarding cases, contributing to the success of our firm and the clients we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.

• Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.

• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.

• Prepare for and participate in case meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.

• Assist in the review and analysis of discovery materials and evidence.

• Maintain communication and updates with clients regarding case status and developments.

• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support attorneys and firm operations.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on complex commercial litigation preferred.

• Strong understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and document management practices.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
