Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or a related technical role.

• 1 year of experience building and shipping technical products.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

• Experience working in Payments or commerce-related industries.

• Experience with data analytics.

• Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

• Experience in technical product management (e.g., creating strategic product roadmaps from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams).

As part of the Monetization Platform team, you will be working at the intersection of digital, commerce, and payments with a charter to protect both sides of Google Play’s marketplace - Android developers and users. You will partner closely with engineers and data scientists across Google to prevent fraud, abuse, and scams while maintaining a great experience for our users.

• Define the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan to reduce and eliminate fraudulent activity across Google Play’s key business areas.

• Work closely with your data science and engineering partners to define counter-abuse features, detection and modeling methodologies, and enforcement approaches.

• Develop a deep understanding of Google Play’s portfolio of products allowing you to proactively assess and consult on fraud vectors and risk associated with new product launches.

• Work directly with Android developers and other ecosystem partners to understand their pain points and incorporate them into product strategy.
