Summary

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is the base for all future innovations at SAP. BTP FDP Engineering & Delivery Services India Team focuses on providing services and solutions that strengthen the platform to be stable and resilient.As a Developer you will join the SAP HANA XS based Apps Migration to Multicloud team and be responsible towards facilitating the deprecation of the XS[SAP HANA extended application services] Programming Model and help pave the way for the existing customers to move to CAP[Cloud Application Programming model] with HANA Cloud on Golden Path.

• To also be responsible to maintain the async-xsjs[successor for xsjs with node 16 and higher] compatibility libraries and facilitate the ramp-down of it on cloud and on on-premise by supporting customers to migrate to CAP.

• To consistently work closely with the CAP team to create and maintain the guidelines, examples and tutorials for XS to CAP migration.

• To own and develop the Design Time Migration tools for HANA XS i.e. the XS Migration Assistant tool & new tools like CAP Cloud Migration Assistant in BAS[Business Application Studio] as an Extension.

Role Responsibility:

• Develop BAS extension & VS[Visual Studio] code extension for Customer and Partners to support migration tools.

• Ensure Latest version of updates to be released to NPM[Node Package Manager].

• To create & maintain the migration Developer guide by identifying the gaps & issues in migrating the XS based applications and providing feedback to the relevant dev/tech teams to ease the overall migration process.

• Updating the async-xsjs libraries with latest version of all dependent libraries with security fixes and on time customer ticket handling with zero escalations and within MPT[Message Processing Time].

• Provide support for internal and external enablement for the XS Based Apps migration

Experience

• Education & Qualification - B. Tech/ M. Tech/ MCA in a related technical discipline, ideally in Computer Science

• 3-5 years of professional experience.

• Very good know-how of SAP BTP architecture, services & capabilities

• Strong programming skills on NodeJS and CAP [Cloud Application Programming Model] with working experience of NodeJS

• Good understanding on the XSJS Programming model, HANA Cloud & HDI[HANA Deployment Infrastructure] Architecture.

• Know how on unit test framework for NodeJS & SAP HANA

• Working independently on Design, Build and Test

• Previous experience in enabling customers & partners is an added advantage.
