Your Role

Your Main Responsibilities:

The Head of Sales for NA is responsible for the delivery of the North American growth and profit targets through the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBP) with existing Commercial and Non-Commercial customers, as well as acquisition of new ones. The right person comes with a deep understanding of the North American Food Service industry and established contacts with broadliners (Sysco, US Foods, GFS) and top customers (Compass, Sodexo, Aramark and Dot Foods). An ability to network and build great relationships, based on a deep understanding of the customer’s needs (internal & external) is critical.

This is a singular opportunity to craft a winning team, both in Canada and the US, with the flexibility to create the optimal sales organization. You will be accountable for:

  1. Increasing our reach with operators
  • Accelerating growth in US and Canada
  • Expanding channel coverage (bakeries: discover needs, insights)
  • Increasing availability of our products being listed at all possible channel of distribution
  • Overseeing both the push and pull functions of the business, across Commercial and Non-Commercial operators.
  1. Bringing to life the 5-year strategic growth plan with relentless energy.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Significant experience (8 years) in Food Service, managing large distributor or commercial accounts with a solid track record of delivery.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a desire to win.
  • A demonstrable customer focused attitude.
  • Resilience and tenacity.
  • Great communication and 'people skills'.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
